Closet Shopping

For this blog post I went “closet shopping” in my very own closet. Basically I pretended that my closet was a hot new boutique and all the clothes were within my price range…free. I felt this little doozy would not only provide me with outfit ideas when I’m suffering from fashion block (that’s when you rip your closet apart because you don’t know what the eff to wear) but also give you some fun shit to look at while you’re wasting time at work or in line at Starbucks. So win win eh?!

During my rummaging process I found some really cool stuff I forgot I had! It’s truly magical to shop in your own closet. Mostly because you don’t have to pick between feeding yourself for the week or a great pair of heels that make your legs look more like Heidi Klum and less like Tyrion Lannister (watch Game of Thrones). 

My strategy when styling is to mix and match nontraditional pieces together to create a fresh unexpected look.
