In this week’s edition of Closet Shopping, where I pull
outfits from my very own closet, I bring to you a nice combination of dressy and
casual. It’s for those days when you’re feeling “Model Off Duty” (casual days)
or Kim K just grabbing the mail (dressy days). This past week as I was watching
an episode of SATC for the umpteenth time I saw Carrie wearing this really cool
brooch on a basic tank. I was super inspired by the simplicity of it so I
rummaged through my accessories arsenal and I found these feather brooches I had
completely forgotten about. If you’re ever on the fence about items like these,
think of them as an inexpensive way to create a whole different look without
buying a single item of clothing. My other inspiration this week was outdoor
music festivals. I was recently at Blues on the Green here in Austin this past
week, so it was a great opportunity to style watch. I implemented some of that
in my outfits for this week.
